Why operators need a local agency
Your Local Partner for Fishing Operations in Somalia
Running a vessel far from your home office depends on someone trustworthy on the ground. HAFA helps foreign vessel owners and operators, including companies from Japan, China, South Korea and Russia, coordinate local services and manage their operational requirements.
One local contact
Owners and masters deal with a single agency in Somalia instead of managing many separate local relationships from abroad.
Coordinated services
We bring port support, supplies, logistics and crew assistance together around your vessel’s schedule.
Organized requirements
We help prepare and track documentation, working through the official channels and relevant competent authorities.
Clear reporting
You receive plain, regular updates on local operations, so your office can make decisions from anywhere.
HAFA is a private, independent local agency, not a government department, regulator, port authority or license issuer. How we approach compliance
